The address is a shared workspace that handles post, not a clinic. There is nobody there who can examine you.

  • Pointing you to the independent bodies on the Resources page
  • Fixing anything on the site that is wrong or unclear, which I genuinely want to hear about

What I cannot help with

  • Telling you whether to have eyelid surgery, or which lids and which technique suit your face
  • Reading your situation and predicting your result, your recovery, or whether it is your lids or your brow
  • Recommending a particular surgeon, clinic, or country
  • Anything urgent or clinical, which belongs with a qualified professional

Please do not send

For your own privacy and safety, please do not email me photographs of your eyes or eyelids, your medical or surgical history, visual-field or eye-test results, or the dates of any planned surgery. I am not your clinician, I cannot assess a photograph or a history, and ordinary email is not a secure or private place for details this personal. Anything a surgeon needs to see belongs at your consultation, where they can examine you. If you send such things anyway, I will use them only to reply and will not keep them.

Emergencies

Babyface is not for emergencies and is not watched around the clock. If you have pain with lost vision, a lower lid pulling away from the eye, heavy bleeding, spreading redness, or anything else urgent after surgery, contact your surgeon’s team straight away, or call your local emergency number (911 in the United States, 999 in the UK, or 112 across much of Europe).
